Belin Blank 2e Academy

The Belin-Blank Center, founded in 1988, is built upon a comprehensive mission grounded in leadership, advocacy, and research. The Center is nationally and internationally known for its support of talented and gifted students and their educators.

Writing Center

The Writing Center assists with all writing projects, including multimedia projects, at any stage of development. Our services are free and available to anyone in the University of Iowa community. Our job is to help you become a better writer, reader and critical thinker.

An excellent resource to find academic assistance and mentoring for your University of Iowa courses. This includes resources such as the Speaking Center, Writing Center, Math Tutorial Lab, and much more.

TRIO Student Support Services

TRIO SSS within the Center for Diversity and Enrichment (CDE) is a federal grant program that serves first generation students, low-income students, and/or students with documented disabilities. TRIO success coaches are charged with ensuring the academic and personal success of participants within the program. The TRIO program offers free tutoring, individualized coaching, success planning, financial support where relevant, cultural events, transition courses, free printing, and much more.

Support for Students: Neurodiversity and Autism Spectrum Disorder

Includes resource pages with inclusive and practical support for various audiences who may interact or benefit from learning more about the university’s ability and mission to support neurodiverse and ASD students in addition to students with behaviors consistent with ASD.

Statistics Tutorial Lab

The purpose of the Statistics Tutorial Lab (University Library Commons, Room 1113 Red) is to make extra help available in introductory statistics courses. Sometimes your instructor's or TA's office hours don't mesh well with your schedule.

School of Journalism and Mass Communication Student Center

The Student Center, located in Room E350 Adler Journalism Building, is a place for students to study, relax between classes, work on group projects, check e-mail, do research, and browse key publications in the field of journalism and mass communications.

Physics Help Center

Provides assistance to students enrolled in physics courses.

Math Tutorial Lab

The Mathematics Tutorial Laboratory is a place for students to get assistance studying for their math classes. Its primary function is to provide students with the opportunity to receive one-on-one help from tutors ready and able to answer questions.
