National Hemophilia Foundation Scholarships
Each year, HFA awards 4 scholarships to promising students in the bleeding disorders community. One (1) scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $2,000.00 to the immediate family member of a person with a bleeding disorder.
Learning Ally
Each year, Learning Ally offers two endowed scholarship awards for outstanding students with print and learning disabilities. The recipients of these awards are role models of success and inspiration to students throughout the country. The top three winners from each program receive a $6,000 scholarship award and participate in a national celebration.
HIE & CP Help Center Scholarship
The HIE Help Center is pleased to offer an annual scholarship for a student (or a small team of students) who is committed to helping people with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE), cerebral palsy (CP), or another neonatal injury. Being personally impacted by HIE or another disability is not a requirement, as the scholarship focuses on the applicant’s goals to support those who are affected. Students with disabilities are welcome and encouraged to apply as well. A scholarship for the amount of $1,000 will be awarded each year to a student or small group of students collaborating on a project.
AvaCare Medical Scholarship
The AvaCare Medical Scholarship recognizes those who are working to better the lives of our customers, students who are pursuing a degree in the medical field, with a prize of $1000 toward college tuition. This scholarship is awarded annually to one submission that tells about an inspiring act of kindness.
American Speech Language Hearing Foundation
The American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation (ASHFoundation) offers several scholarship and grant competitions to graduate students and new and experienced researchers in the field of communication sciences and disorders.
