Operated by Cambus, the Bionic Bus system is The University of Iowa’s specialized transportation service for persons with disabilities. It is a demand-response, curb-to-curb service designed to serve the needs of University students, faculty, and staff within most areas of Iowa City and Coralville.

Facilities Management has established a new Access & Construction Alert system which automates notification to important partners like Public Safety, Parking & Transportation, University Relations, City of Iowa City, City of Coralville, etc. and will help provide important information about accessible paths of travel to individuals with disabilities.
